Project Title: 12 Steps of Service Training Course
Tools Used in Development: Lectora, Audacity, Canva, Google Drive
Overview: This eLearning course prepares new restaurant employees by teaching the 12 Steps of Service.
Challenge: Through speaking with restaurant management, it was determined that most of the servers began with little to no experience. The brief on-the-job training that new staff was receiving was not achieving the results needed. The managers were struggling with servers forgetting important steps, and therefore offering subpar service.
Solution: This course will walk the learners through the basics of restaurant service, the 12 Steps of Service. Throughout the course they will learn what the 12 Steps of Service are, be given access to a Job-Aid, shown how to implement the 12 Steps of Service, and tested on the 12 Steps of Service.
